The Romantic Road of Halblech
The most famous holiday road of Germany leads through Halblech, Buching and Trauchgau. This street is very popular all over the world. It is 410 km long starting from Würzburg through well known places like Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Dinkelsbühl, Nördlingen, Augsburg, Landsberg and finally, Füssen.
The highlight for many travellers is Neuschwanstein Castle and the first sight of it will be going south, shortly before Halblech, in Birnbaum on a hilltop.
